Hello, and welcome to my blog!
My name is Sydney, I'm sixteen years old, and I'm very interested in civil rights and social happenings, both past and present, and all over the world. I love "being in the know", regarding our society and how the world governments are handling social issues.
This blog is going to be centered around civil rights, as you probably gathered from the title. I'll writing about social issues and conflicts, both minor and major and all over the world. I'll also be focusing on past issues and civil rights movements, and study patterns of how issues can repeat and reoccur throughout time. Activists play such a large role in how rights are won, so I'd be a fool to leave them out. I'll being watching TED talks and giving my opinion on them, and providing you with way to get involved and make a difference in today's world!
